The Picot Company produced results that surpassed our highest expectations.
We are delighted, as are all who visit our home.

Here’s what they say about The Picot Company:

“My wife and I are most appreciative to the Picot Company for an outstanding job creating the terrace/garden at our house. The outcome is spectacular. We have been enjoying most meals and free time on the terrace starting the night the last stone was put into place. It is heaven.

The process was equally pleasing. Jeff’s counsel on the Landscape Architect’s design was most helpful, and his selection of stone, locust trees and plant material was just great. The Picot Company did the work very quickly and meticulously and sooner than we thought possible.”
David Stein, West Newton, MA

I couldn’t be happier with the Picot Company crew. They did a superb job, all of them. The foreman was especially competent for this job and his background and disposition wer ideal. They were in every way a delight.
William Eykamp, Arlington, MA

“My wife and I thought about what we wanted for some time and The Picot Company came in and made  that vision so much better than what we imagined. They are just great to work with.”
Stuart and Marie Nagode, Dover, MA

"The Picot Company did such a fine job. The guys were terrific and obviously very competent. The shrubs you chose were perfect for every spot and the front walkway is truly outstanding."
Jack Bellavance, Brewster, MA

“We have worked with the owner, Jeff Simko, for over ten years on many residential projects of varying levels of complexity. Jeff has always done an outstanding job. Our clients have been very happy with Jeff's work and have often asked him to return and do additional work.

“The Picot Company has built beautiful brick terraces and lovely stone walls, installed large trees and perennial borders, shrub beds and bulb gardens. The company has been reliable and delivered the highest quality landscape work. We look forward to continuing work with The Picot Company for the rest of our professional lives.”

 Landscape Architects and Planners

I was fortunate to be introduced to Picot through a work colleague. Picot has been engaged as the sole landscape company for my property for four years. Their work is impeccable and they treat the project like it’s their own. Jeff, Bill, and Keith are extremely professional as are the crew they work with. They have worked seamlessly with the landscape designer and are available nights and weekends which best fit my schedule to address questions and review projects.

“Beyond these strengths, they were excellent at interpreting site conditions and suggesting changes to design that added to the value of the project. Finally, as with anything involving Mother Nature, certain plantings don't always take well. I never had to ask to have anything replaced. Picot did it before I could ask without hesitation and without additional charges. As far as I am concerned, Picot is best-in-class and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, and again. The Picot team are like family here.”

Preservation Massachusetts Honors The Picot Company with the 2011 Paul E. Tsongas Award

Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study in Cambridge, MA needed to preserve  the structure and character of the existing Sunken Garden. The project included reconstructing the lawn panel, maintaining mature trees and plantings, restoring the central fountain and addressing issues of accessibility around the entire garden. The long-term viability and development of the Sunken Garden was successfully addressed by the project team, including Steven Stimson, Landscape Architect and The Picot Company.  Radcliffe’s Sunken Garden will continue to be enjoyed by students and visitors alike.

Preservation Massachusetts hosted the 2011 Preservation Awards Dinner in May, 2011 to honor 21 Massachusetts colleges, universities and preparatory schools that have embraced and incorporated preservation into their educational identity.
